Stopped in on our way through to Ottawa from Toronto area, easy location right off 401. Friendly and helpful staff as we had little ones who were hungry and tired. Staff quickly accommodated us and our complicated orders were delivered to our table exactly as ordered! All fresh ingredients for our burgers, satisfying the cravings of a traditional Harvey's burger! Gravy was delicious and the Swiss chicken divine with the traditional chalet sauce! Did not disappoint, the place was spotless and well stocked with everything you'd need. Highly recommend stopping in if you're craving swiss or Harvey's and have littles ones for a fast decent meal! only the positive: they have signs even if they don't eat. there are Covid protocols. the staff was very patient with the older males who have a long time to order and pay, which is great. the burger of harveys, minimal...explaints without having the jalapenos. improvements: missing what was ordered (the jalapeno was not placed on the burger or as a side) the claw on the chicken sandwich was not fresh. I ate around the coleslaw and threw about half the chicken sandwich. the colleague, if she is not fresh, could cause disease, especially in vulnerable individuals. the sweet in salat, i.e. the gurkens were devastated and old. The restaurant is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. We stopped on our way home with hungry children and a large group of people of different ages who were tired and grumpy. The staff quickly picked up on our needs, helped us make choices, and delivered our meals efficiently and accurately. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, just as you would expect from a Harvey's/Swiss Chalet customer. We were not disappointed and will definitely consider returning during future travels.
I have always been a Harvey’s n Swiss fan but this little gem just off the highway was fantastic ! Some chains food quality and service has been adequate at best the past few years but NOT this restaurant. The service was extremely pleasant and the quality of the food was delicious ! If you are in town you should stop by or if your on the 401 travelling this is your stop!
