Hawker Street Cafe

I went to this little cafe based on what I had been told and reading the reviews. It is easy to find on a main route through to Brompton and in an upcoming trendy historic suburb in Adelaide. The service was friendly enough although nothing special particularly as I said that I hadn't been there before and wasn't sure what to have. No suggestions were offered so I ordered coffee and a friand.The food on the board was well-priced particularly in comparison with many current breakfast menus but nothing really seemed different or interesting. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a Mother's Day morning tea at Hawker Street Café. I must say, they really exceeded my expectations in terms of both the delicious food and exceptional service. They provided a beautiful cake that met all my mum's dietary requirements, and the service from all the staff was absolutely fantastic. It was great. They attended to my many and varied dietary requirements without eye rolling! Food was delicious too and lovely raw dessert. Had the loose leaf tea which was something different and my hubby enjoyed his cappuccino. Will definitely come back.

Went there today on way to haircut next door.Service was fast and good,had a small cake and coffee only due to time but will be back for sure when more time.VERY busy this am I must say.

Always come here for the Eggs Benedict, consistently amazing and delicious. The coffee is always great!!! Very welcoming staff, this has become our regular go to for brunch
