Eat. Here. NOW! I absolutely loved everything I had here. HAAM occupies that rare place in the plant based world where instead of solely trying to imitate traditional meat dishes, it leans into it 's veggie ingredients and creates food that lets the plants shine! To be clear, they have chicken, beef, cheese, and other imitations like that, but they don 't rely entirely on trying to recreate their meat based counterparts. No matter your dietary preferences, you 'll love everything you have here. I there 's one thing that 's a MUST try, it 's the guava cheese empanadas.
This might honestly be the best vegan restaurant I've ever been. Most vegan restaurants don't impress me. But here? The food is...out of this world AMAZING! The flavor and texture is wild. Mix of Trini and Dominican. High quality ingrediants from the oil to the sofritos and sazon. The steak was better than a real steak?!?! The cocktails are elite, the service was amazing. Get the kale salad too. Do NOT sleep on the cassava/sour sop desert, it will send you to heaven... oh and ask for the hot sauce, it was so good I took a bottle home!
I’ve been twice now and am looking for another reason to go again. I really love everything about this restaurant and that says a lot as I am very much a meat eater. I’ve tried just about every item on the menu and it is evident with each and every bite that Chef really takes pride in every dish she produces. I can’t wait to go back again. My girl, Myla is the best server and the playlist keeps you dancing in your seat the whole meal. HAAM is definitely worth trying out.
Food was Slamming!!! Mad I couldn’t try everything I wanted! I ate the mofongo so fast I forgot to take a full pic lol! I could eat that everyday! And the jerk burger was super tasty ! Yucca fries were crispy and fresh! Amazing vibes and great music too. Def go pay Yesenia and the crew at HAAM a visit!

The food was amazing! I believe this corner spot has finally found a lasting business. You should definitely try their delicious dishes, even if you’re not vegetarian. The female chef does an outstanding job!
The absolute best new Caribbean fusion restaurant in Brooklyn! The owners are such gems—a charming husband and wife team. They serve the best empanadas I've ever tasted (I had to be told they were vegan!).
I had the patacon with yuca fries and the guava Prosecco and everything about it was perfect! Ambience in the restaurant is very warm, cozy, and welcoming. The cassava cake was amazing.
The service was a bit slow for our large group of over 10 people, but the staff was friendly. Overall, the food was delicious.
