We asked for something simple (no hot drinks) a sandwich, water and hot food that was already prepared, so we...could get in and get out quickly that was mistake number 1. 35 minutes we waited until I went to ask for my money back but they said they were preparing our food, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt, mistake number 2. They only brought half of the order, so we had to ask again. No sorry, no freebee, the owner was stood there no apology no nothing. After a long day at school, we decided to stop by this restaurant for a quick meal. My son ordered a $4 drink, but was disappointed to find that it was mostly just white crushed ice. When we raised this issue with the server, she insisted on charging us more to fix the drink. Frustrated by the lack of accountability and customer service, we left without finishing our meal. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with our experience at this restaurant.
I have fond memories of coffee shops in the 1980s, where the focus was more on delicious food and exceptional service rather than just coffee. It was a rare treat and a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Be sure to try the chips!

If you're in search of a delicious cup of coffee and a satisfying breakfast, you can't go wrong with Helensvale Carvery and Coffee Lounge. I highly recommend trying their big breakfast - it's fantastic.
Great food , good portion size , freshly made. No problems with wait times, even when carvery is busy. Highly recommendable, clean and friendly service from all staff , what more can you ask for.

Nice staff. Always friendly and a Carvery I will always visit in helensvale. Fishcake, eat the fish cake. It's hard not to go back for more.
Staff all friendly and efficient, and food is beaut. This is a wonderful way to spend a little time in comfort.
