This diner was a book in Rockaway, Morris County and NJ since I remembered. I remember coming with my parents when I grew up in Rockaway. Food is always great, people are always great. I would also like to pass on this great tradition to my children, and I hope that they will stay and continue one of the great little diners and places in this state. From rough no trip to any Jersey Diner is complete without a sequence of discories and they have the best. They have made a renovation on the diner and looks great and has more space and the food has better and better over the years. The burgers are big and juicy and they put any order and the homemade cheese cake is a must try. Best Diner in the area without a doubt.
A great classic diner feeling with an extensive and interesting menu. Some usual egg creams, breakfast, Ruebens, Matzo ball soup. And some not so common breakfast sandwich with French toast for buns and hash browns inside, avocado toast on Jalapeño Cornbread, a delightful stack of Portobello mushroom / drilled paprika / smoked mozzarella. They also have an extensive dessert list that they make most in the house, so was very happy I was able to get a very nice slice of pumpkin cake. He was very funny and fast. Many parking spaces on the property. Would go back to try more of the massive menu.
This place blew our expectations. The menu was more creative then other diners I've been to. The mozzarella stick weren't salty, the Bavarian pretzels were soft and tasty, disco fries were tasty with the right amount of cheese and gravy, and the breakfast burger was amazing. Never had French toast as the buns of a buns. My party was thoroughly happy with the meal. Staff gets a 10. Our waiter always checked in on us and made sure all of our drinks are full and we are well taken care of. I will be back here often!
