High Tea With Gerri

We had a delightful time enjoying High Tea with Gerri. We had made reservations ahead of time but unfortunately one of our friend became sick and could not attend. At first we were told we would have to still pay for the missing person, but later they did take the extra charge off of our bill which was really appreciated. We did understand that all of the preparation for our high tea was made ahead of time and the last minute change to our reservation was of no fault of theirs. The only downside to our experience is that we were seated with a 9 year old's birthday celebration group. This made for a LOUD experience and we were under the impression we were going to have a refined more intimate...

We ordered the take- away tea for three. There was a lovely assortment of savory sandwiches. There were three scones and some little deserts. On balance, we were pleased, but I would make two suggestions if you are going to do this: First, you may wish to order an extra serving on the scones, toppings for the scones and the deserts- or fill them in a bit yourself. Portions are dainty. Second, while the scones were all boxed separately, the remainder of each person’s serving was boxed together. This meant deserts were packed with fish and egg- filled sandwiches. There was some cleanup necessary at home. Would ask that the savories be boxed separately from the deserts.

This is really a fun place for celebrations or get togethers with close girlfriends. Galentines day would be fun here, too! We enjoyed the hats, food, and decor. The tea selection was great. Finger food could have been better with more of it. Enjoyed dressing up at home in pretty dresses and arriving to choose a matching hat that they have available in all shapes, sizes, and styles to borrow for the tea time. This experience can get pricey, and also service could have been more attentive with more refils on the tea, but we will be back because it is so unique.

We enjoyed Tea with Geri yesterday and we had an amazing time. Geri&her staff did an amazing job at making us comfortable and kept the tea flowing. The tea was nice& hot, finger sandwiches/pastries were delicious. I would recommend Geri's to anyone that enjoys a nice cup of tea.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here with my mom and sister. We had a great time! The food was delicious, and surprisingly more filing than I expected!
