The food was fine. Steaks were a little over cooked. The service was terrible. Our server brought out part of our tables meal and then went to take the order of a large table. The second half of our tables food came out about 15 minutes later after I’m assuming the owner asked how our meal was. This was very disappointing. There was not even an apology from the server or the owner for the delay. The Highlander was a favorite of ours for special occasions. I don’t think we will be back.
My partner and I have been coming to this restaurant for date nights for a few years now, often coinciding with performances by our friends, The Unpredictables. It has become our go-to special spot! We are really impressed with the new chef - the food has been the best we've had in the past 5 years, and he is very personable. We can't wait to try more dishes from the menu!
This restaurant is fantastic! We made a reservation and were promptly seated outside as requested by the owner. There was live music, a great selection of drinks and food, and the staff was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Korean BBQ short ribs, shrimp and scallops, and the chef's cut steak - all of which were cooked perfectly. Can't wait to come back again!
A unique off the beaten path dining experience nestled in the beauty of a Montana Mountain cove. The property is a delight, the intimate dining area offers just enough space from other diners. The bar is welcoming and bright. Menu is diverse but simple and the taste and quality is satisfying. House made dessert is definitely worth the drive. Réservez une table maintenant
Excellent,cozy,and intimate. I would recommend this place to all, but if I do, it will be exposing a well kept secret,and I don't want to spoil it by overcrowding it.
We love The Highlander. It's a great local bar/restaurant with excellent live music. The food is always good, nice wine selection and great German beer!
Great food. It was busy but we were there to enjoy ourselves so we didn't mind it took a little while to get our food. It was worth the wait.
