Honestly I'm completely frustrated with this restaurant. I've been trying to call ahead for 2 hours today. They leave the phone off the hook and completely ignore takeout orders. I just got out of surgery the last thing I want to do is sit and wait around in a crowded restaurant for someone to answer the phone or even to acknowledge me as I come in the door. Food's good but the service is poor. It's too bad they come so highly recommended and you can hardly get in there. It's also not an accessible building so my disabled mother cannot get into the restaurant with her wheelchair because the doors are not to code and there's no automatic accessibility either. this restaurant is great. it is a bit “paved” inside, but the staff are friendly, eating is in house style and delicious. the portion sizes are respectable and the prices do not break the bank. Make sure the parking lot is very slippery in winter. this place is a reliable option for tasty eating in the area orillia. do not hesitate back!

Good place for a quick breakfast especially when it $7.74 Bacon and eggs breakfast special. It includes a drink and home or dollar fries. $0.25 upcharge for rye toast. The ambiance is dated, but still charming considering how old the restaurant is.
