Yesterday, my friend and I went to Himalayan Cafe restaurant seeking authentic Nepali flavors, but were disappointed. We were very excited as we drove 1hr to get there. Upon arrival, the server seemed uninterested and complained about resource shortage. The unprofessionalism of the server made us uncomfortable. The food quality was below average, leading to stomach issues next morning. We had ordered 1 plate chicken chowmein, 1 plate Chicken Momo, Samosa chat and Gajar ko Haluwa (desert). It's very concerning if this reflects the overall management. I hope it was just an off day, but based on our experience, I cannot recommend this place for those seeking authentic Nepali cuisine.

Went from really good to bad to ugly. Have been eating here for years, and quality has steadily declined to a point where food is inedible. The final blow is ordering lamb vindaloo and getting 3/4 bones with no meat and 1/4 mix of STALE potatoes and two lamb slices. And completely tasteless (not sure this is even vindaloo sauce). As much as I used to love this place, gotta be honest about food quality. Utterly disgusted, and has been the case for the past 6 food orders. You can do better than this pals

My friend and I visited for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. Goku made sure everything was to our liking. The food was served hot, spicy, and quick (my favorite). We highly recommend the goat curry and Tikka masala as well as the cheese and garlic naan. If you try an appetizer like samosas, ask for their spicy red sauce--it is the best!We will definitely be returning to Himalayan Cafe soon.Much love,Stephanie

So good. Probably the best restaurant in San Dimas. Super authentic. Delicious, rich flavors. Great use of spice. You can moderate the spiciness of your order. The salmon tikka masala and shaag are quite possibly some of the best items I've ever eaten. Enjoy it with some garlic and onion naan.
