We started with a shared platter of burrata and prosciutto, which was absolutely scrumptious. For my appetizer, I chose the featured beef carpaccio, and for my main course, I enjoyed the bass. We enjoyed a bottle of wine that was simply fantastic. The highlight of our visit was definitely the service from our bartender, Aedan. At just 22 years old, he handled the bar with great skill! As restaurant owners ourselves, we would gladly hire him if we had the opportunity. He was friendly, efficient, and offered excellent recommendations for other dining options in Kelowna. The only downside to our experience was the appetizer, which was largely due to our misunderstanding of the menu and a bit of garlic toast that was over-charred. After a wonderful tasting this afternoon, we called home to see if we could reserve a table for dinner tonight, and they happily obliged. Dinner was outstanding! We chose the three-course meal with a wine pairing. They also offered a few additional dishes that weren’t on the menu, which was great for me as a pescatarian, as it gave me more options to choose from. They even accommodated my preferences by modifying my meal since I’m not a fan of olives or squid oil. Everything was exceptionally delicious. Home Block never lets us down! I highly recommend it. The restaurant is gorgeous, and I highly recommend dining on the covered terrace if the weather is nice—it boasts stunning views. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant a few nights ago during a corporate event. The service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious.
