The last time we were there, it was an afternoon, and most of the bread was already sold out, yet it was bustling with customers—those who had ordered ahead and others enjoying lunch. It was fascinating to see the diverse crowd: well-to-do middle-aged individuals, older patrons, young hipsters, families, and ladies stopping by for coffee and a treat. I visited this restaurant for the first time today and was impressed by the excellent selection offered in a lovely location. They also have a few vegan options, which is a nice touch. You absolutely must try their sourdough bread—it's fantastic! The staff members are friendly and very helpful, taking the time to recommend their best products and suggest what you should try. I highly recommend this spot for coffee dates!

Homestead is an excellent local gem in Barrie. Their breakfast sandwich is fantastic—it's the best croissant sandwich I've ever had and incredibly fresh! The coffee is also great, and their aged cheddar bagels to take home are absolutely delicious. It's a perfect place for coffee and breakfast, with a nice ambiance that's ideal for working or enjoying a coffee date.

Homestead prepared exquisite sandwiches and salads for our surprise wedding, and I am still receiving compliments about how incredible the food was. Honestly, I should have ordered double! Everyone loved the food, and we couldn't be happier with how delicious everything was. It's definitely a fantastic choice for catering or just enjoying great food any day! I absolutely adore this hidden gem! We discovered it by chance last weekend and have already been back twice. I could easily eat a whole loaf of their incredible sourdough by myself. The coffee is fantastic, and they offer a variety of local products and fresh breads. Plus, there's a dog-friendly patio! I really wish I had found this place sooner.

Really decent local bakery, their sourdough is delicious, and I haven't had a bagel that's come close to how good Homestead makes theirs. Their coffee is average, not the best I've had, and I usually stick with the baked goods. I just wish it was a bit more affordable so I could go there more regularly instead of just as a treat.

I love this place. I fell in love with their garlic and potato sourdough bread but recently they have made some changes that cater more to my diet as a vegan. Very pleased with Homestead and the staff. Always friendly service and very accommodating.

Enjoyed a delightful breakfast here and picked up some bread and treats too! The two eggs and toast breakfast was tasty with the really delicious bacon and savory additions. The coffee was also very good! All in all, a five star breakfast! Réservez une table maintenant

This place is a real hidden jem! I had the beetroot toastie of the day and it was one of the best things I have ever had. The taste topped the beauty!
