The food was a real disappointment. The kitchen must have run out of spices because it was more bland than in the hospital. We still don 't know whether the vegetables were frozen or not... Unfortunately, they didn 't have any taste here either. There was no sauce with it. Some of the veal livers were good and others tough. The regionality of the products is pointed out both on the website and in the restaurant. The fact that this goes hand in hand with slightly higher prices is self explanatory in my view and quite okay. Cozy restaurant, internally at the Heiden Hotel, the most comfortable Hotel of the small village located on Constance Lake. Good cooking but basic. I've tried a local speciality: Cordon Bleu that no matter how many efforts they spent for performing it like a speciality, is...simply Cordon Bleu

Spontan hier zum Lunch reingelaufen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und nett, das Essen, einfache Fleischvogel mit Stocki, sehr fein. Sehr empfehlenswert. Einzig negatives, kein Ausblick auf den See.

We had an outside Terasse Fondue, with warm blankets, thermo and thick pullovers! The fondue was excellent with Appenzeller Cheese, also Potatoes (not typically)... Price of 29 SFr per Person is fair! Réservez une table maintenant
