i was doing some betting at the TAB and I could hear the person behind the bar moaning about someone who had the audacity to have a glass of water and use their bathroom...the woman from behind bar came out and turned the television up so loud that it was unpleasant to stay...I had to ask her to turn it down she wasn't pleased and said so...I feel certain that this hotel derives income from the TAB and as such I cannot understand why I would be unwelcome...I was clean and tidy... I did not bother other patrons and I spent money and I did buy a drink...I will never go there again...
I recently visited this restaurant for tea and was pleasantly surprised to find this hidden gem. The place is well-maintained and the food was delicious. The new chef is exceptional and friendly, and Travis, the staff member working at the bar, was welcoming and provided great meal recommendations. They also have special offers like buy 1 main meal get the 2nd free on Tuesday nights and kids eat free on Saturdays. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal.
I have come to this place for lunch a few times now and have brought my family for dinner too. We all agree, they know how to cook a tasty steak. The lunch steak special is very reasonable and staff are always welcoming. I like to eat out the back as the inside is a little too much for me (my personal opinion of day time drunks and gambling). At night I like the indoors a little better. They have live music some nights, not the best, but ok.
Any pub that has unlimited free pool tables gets 5 stars from me. It's nice and spacious. Looks like a good kitchen. The whole place is very clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and professional and the punters don't mind having a chat with a stranger.

We stopped by for some fries, a beer for me, my partner wanted a ginger beer, and the kids ordered lemonade. The fries were delicious and the kids really enjoyed their drinks.
We popped in for lunch and the chef was very helpful in adjusting the menu, the pork chops were the best that we had ever had, beautifully presented and very good value
The pub is fantastic with welcoming and friendly staff. The food is delicious and there is entertaining entertainment.
Four out of five stars!
I stayed here for two weeks when I was in town on business.
