We enjoyed a great lunch, six of us sampling the local Ardeche specialities. All our meals exceeded expectation in presentation and wonderful flavour! The service was outstanding with our waiter going out of his way to make our non-french speaking guests welcome and explaining all of the dishes as we pondered the extensive selection available. I enjoyed la trout d'ardeche aux amandes, cooked to perfection; my friend enjoyed Le magret de canard, sauce a us cepès (oh those mushrooms!); several enjoyed an OUTSTANDING L'Ardèchoise- a wonderful salad of prosciutto tomatoes, salad greens and chèvre grilled atop perfect baguette rounds.
