Hotel Restaurant les Celestins

We enjoyed a great lunch, six of us sampling the local Ardeche specialities. All our meals exceeded expectation in presentation and wonderful flavour! The service was outstanding with our waiter going out of his way to make our non-french speaking guests welcome and explaining all of the dishes as we pondered the extensive selection available. I enjoyed la trout d'ardeche aux amandes, cooked to perfection; my friend enjoyed Le magret de canard, sauce a us cepès (oh those mushrooms!); several enjoyed an OUTSTANDING L'Ardèchoise- a wonderful salad of prosciutto tomatoes, salad greens and chèvre grilled atop perfect baguette rounds. Divine.to call it a salad does not adequately describe the balance of flavours and textures with every element- crisp, fresh, creamy, salty, tart- in a word delicious.Our experience included requesting an affagato coffee-not a common menu item in France- and presented a wonderful end to our very enjoyable meal.

We took a trout with almonds and some kind of pasta. Both dishes were huge and tasty in every detail. Price average but worth it. Also we liked the interior design, especially the shapes of chairs;)

Les ailes sont assez bonnes. Je recommande vraiment de venir dans cet endroit le mardi. Ils ont des ailes traditionnelles à moitié prix toute la journée du mardi.

Went there with the family, average food & atmosphere, not enough menu choice, very nice location though by the water.

Après avoir passé plusieurs heures au bureau local des permis de conduire, il était temps d'aller déjeuner.
