4th Star is a Nostalgia Bonus . This is the kind of place we can go to when you don 't have the lady friends/missues in tow. The only ethnic cuisine I could afford at a certain time in my life. By the Grace of God, I can now buy $30 worth of soup for lunch trendy pronounced names add value). I am pleasantly surprised, and I accept some of that may be a projection of simpler times, and simpler pleasures. I walked in to order, wasn 't sure which Hunan place I was headed to the GPS was wonky, and there are two similar named places in the same general area), so didn 't call ahead. They got me served in 10 minutes for sure. I had a lunch special, Kung Pao chicken comes with fried rice, egg roll)....
I was so disappointed in my order. I ordered 3 items from the menu and only one was enjoyable. The combo lo mein was dry and lacked seasoning, the pork fried rice was dry and the rice was hard and not seasoned. The only decent item was the generals tso chicken. I can't believe I spent over &50.00 doe this. It was not a pleasant experience. Not to mention I ordered a large and receive a pint.
My chicken egg rolls were overcooked, the beef fried rice was extremely overdone, and the beef lo mein must have contained at least two whole onions. On the bright side, the food arrived quickly, hot, and with plenty of sauce. I genuinely believe the chicken egg rolls would be fantastic if they weren’t burnt.
fantastic place! They are also very high rated on door dash! I had the pfeffers bark with roasted rice and hot and sour. all good!

spent $101.30 tonight, bark meat szheshauan wayery, general tsao also, could not eat bark meat, so disappointed.
The moo shu pork was fantastic, and the shrimp egg rolls were delightful! The egg rolls were huge!
The chicken lo mein is excellent, and the egg rolls are surprisingly large.
I personally like the people there service is quick never had a problem
