We had the gobchang (small intestines) and kimchi fried rice and I thought it was just okay at best. My mom, who knows her korean food, thought that the meat was way too chewy and not tender enough. My problem was with the service. The waitresses were not friendly at all, never asking us if needed anything. We always had to chase them down to get something. Also, how it works there is that the waitresses cook the meat for you, which is an absolutely terrible idea when you have a packed restaurant with three waitresses. When a waitress came over to look at our meat, she said that the meat had been cooked for way too long but did not apologize. I will never return here
I got to try this place out last month and I was highly impressed. I been to a few Korean bbq places and I really liked this one the most. The staff was really good and wanted to help guide people if they have never been there. The ambiance was great almost similar to how it was when I lived and had Korean bbq in South Korea. The food was very high quality I really enjoyed the meal that I had with my friend. I would recommend this place to anyone who was a more private Korean bbq experience.
Was craving some Korean bbq so headed to Hwang Soh Grill. All the meats were delicious. The brisket was tender and meaty?not just fat. Glad we went for the pricier Berkshire pork belly. It was so meaty, juicy and flavourful. We got two orders, which was a lot for four people. The pork belly paired well with the fried rice that comes at the end.
