After spending a few days in Chicago, my husband and I wanted to find a quiet place to have lunch. When Taboun Grill popped up on my google search, I had a feeling that it was what we were looking for. It was perfect in every way-very clean and spacious, quiet except for the laughter and joyful conversation of the family who owns/runs the restaurant. I felt very welcome and comfortable. Our server was especially nice and helped us order a perfect meal. The food was light and fresh and we left feeling satisfied and energized to continue our journey up north. If we are ever area, we will definitely stop here again!
Dinner started with being greeted promptly and seated at a table. A starter of beets and pickles were brought to my table and water. I had particular dietary needs (vegan and my server guided me through the menu for vegan selections. I had split pea soup and a falafel pita. The food was fresh and good. I finished the meal off with tea with Nana (black tea with fresh mint. The only Israeli grill around. I went during Hanukkah.
The dedication of the staff and ownership are a true testament to the incredible service and commitment of the experience at Taboun. My family has been enjoying the delectable cuisine from Taboun for over a decade and we hope to continue for many years to come. Thank you Taboun for always making our experience so great!
I miss home... Taboun Grill helps me by providing with authentic Israeli and Lebanese cuisine. Fast amazing service, I get to talk Hebrew, which is a big plus! Everyone who works there makes you feel at home, go above and beyond to accommodate. Food is absolutely delicious!

Love this restaurant, food is delicious and served pretty quickly. Recommend the Kefta kebabs, and Yemenite soup!
Great Mediterranean food served graciously. Amazing flavors. The coconut curry sauce was unique and delicious.
Excellent food! Their marrocan fish tastes like home-made. And must try the mushroom hummus.
