Generally: The Loki Bar operates under Bernese law, which means it can stay open all night long. Because of this, the dear alcoholics gather there from 2 a.m. onwards. The entrance: Loki isn't always open, sometimes it's closed without notice and you're left with a locked door. The bouncer is nice and also looks after all the guests, great! The atmosphere: Friends affectionately call it the “mold cave”; it looks like an old wine cellar that has been converted and rough plaster has been applied. Everything still looks yellowed from before the times when you were allowed to smoke there.
