Il Caminetto - Réservation de table

We had an incredible experience at Il Caminetto. They are a high end restaurant, and very popular, so reservations are a must if you want to guarantee a table. I recommend booking 2+ days in advance. The hosts were lovely, quickly getting us to our table before our full party arrived. Once at the table we were greeted by the sommelier, who got us started with water and later helped us choose a bottle for the table. Our server Katie C was nothing short of perfection, kind and attentive and honored special requests we made. She truly made the dining experience wonderful. Been to Whistler plenty but first time dining in here. Been to a sister restaurant (Araxi and expected nothing less. We ordered the carpaccio, lobster saffron linguini with prawns, 6oz beef tenderloin steak with truffle, sautéed broccolini, and fingerling potatoes. To drink, I indulged in you can 't sit with us (Appleton signature, Aperol, mango, lime, orange, egg white, black pepper and the hubby has his standard double Johnny black... we enjoyed every last bit of it! We had the best experience at Il Caminetto this past Saturday for our anniversary dinner! Everything that we ate was fantastic, especially the lobster linguine and sable fish entree. Our wine was suggested by one of their staff members after they gauged our tasted off of a couple of different samples we tried and it complemented our meal PERFECTLY. They brought us out a lovely surprise anniversary dessert. The most notable part of the excellent service we received was them noticing that we had taken the entire dinner to finish our cocktails that we ordered prior to the meal- they took care of them off the bill for us without us having even mentioned they weren’t quite what we were hoping for...

Phenomenal experience here last night. We had a group of 8 guys come here for dinner to celebrate a birthday and everything was amazing from start to finish. Everyone enjoyed their entrees and we ended up splitting 6-8 appetizers, a couple bottles of wine and a few small desserts. There was nothing that we ordered that wasn't fresh and tasted exactly as you would want. Our server Jess was attentive and quick to keep everything topped up and brought out. She even ran a jacket down the street to us after we'd taken off because it was left behind. All in all, I would absolutely come back for any type of dining experience! Réservez une table maintenant

My dish was very good. But my wife did not like hers. It was a little blend.Cocktails were ok. The environment was a lot fancier than I expected compared to the 21 steps restaurant and the price was much steeper too. I would much rather have a nice cozy diner at 21 steps than feel restrained by the fancy environment.Service was ok, waiters were polite and all, but perhaps not as friendly as in other places such as the 21 steps.

Classy, cozy, and elegant!. The interior is very intimate, the service and food was at the top of the game. The vegan cauliflower steak is amongst the best vegan entrees Ive had in the world. I wish they had a vegan soup and could do a better vegan salad other than the plain arugula. Overall though, its must visit if you're in Whistler and seeking a chic spot without the pretentiousness.

Had a fantastic experience here. From the start the sommelier gave us an excellent champagne recommendation. The food was fresh and flavorful burrata, charcuterie board and salad. Service was great and attentive. Sommelier finished up with a great organic white choice from Italy she killed it. Would return

We had an amazing dining experience celebrating our anniversary here. Katie was our server and took amazing care of us. We enjoyed the lobster linguine and salmon dish. The beets served with the salmon were the best beets I’ve ever had in my life. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Réservez une table maintenant

Delicious food in a warm ambiance. We sat outside and was surrounded by heat lamps and blankets. The food was perfect, beer and wine were great. Most of all, service was wonderful. Highly recommend when you want to splurge a little.

Absolutely loved everything we ordered. Service was amazing and we left satisfied. Prices are a bit on the higher side but we’ll worth it for Whistler Village.
