This restaurant, island fusion has a party room that you can rent out for events. Rent at your own risk. My family rented the location to celebrate our grandmother's 90th birthday on July 23rd 2022. This was actually during the heat wave in New YorkCity. But to our surprise upon arrival the venue and the space had no air, the HVAC was not working. And unfortunately thereseemed that there was no sense of urgency on the owner's behalf to get it corrected and fixed nor were we informed in advancewhen they knew it was not working. And again I state it was for my grandmother's 90th birthday with no air. They also did notprovide all of the food that we ordered. When we asked about the missing item...
This place is a miss or hit, I only tried their takeout option. I ordered the pasta, jerk chicken and chicken soup one day it was good. But this morning I decided to try the callaloo and cod fish and at first it tasted great. But after a while I keptbiting into something hard and inedible, the 1st time I thought it was just a mistake but after while I realized 50% of the dishwas stem. the stem was scratching the roof of my mouth and I had to keep spiting it out It was so horrible I had to throw itaway.
I hosted my mom's 70th birthday and retirement party here last February, and it was a wonderful event! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Ms. Rosemary was incredibly kind and truly went above and beyond to make the occasion special. To this day, my mom still talks about how fantastic the food was and how amazing everything turned out. I am genuinely grateful for Ms. Rosemary's kindness and patience throughout the planning process!
Rented this venue for birthday and also a wedding. I recently stopped by Island Fusion Foods for a quick lunch. I received a generous serving of sweet chili chicken in a small container. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. The rice and peas, along with the cabbage, were delicious. The restaurant was completely empty when I visited.
The food was amazing! Ms. Lawrence truly surpassed all expectations. This is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. I’m excited to enjoy more of your dishes, Ms. Lawrence! The prices are excellent as well.
I ordered takeout and the chicken soup was absolutely delightful! It had amazing flavor and the consistency was just right. I'm looking forward to trying the other dishes on my next visit!
You absolutely shouldn't miss the Cornmeal Porridge! A big shoutout to the chef for creating such an incredible dish. It's an ideal way to start your day. I highly recommend it!

The food seemed old and simply rearranged to look fresh. I wouldn’t recommend this place. That’s just my personal experience.
