Islander Food Shack

Another visit, and once again, the food was fantastic! We enjoyed the grouper and shrimp basket, as well as the BBQ pork basket. The fries are the best, and the BBQ pork was delicious and moist. They consistently deliver great seafood and everything else we've tried. However, neither of us particularly likes the coleslaw, but that’s just because we prefer a creamy version, and theirs is made with a vinaigrette. There's nothing wrong with it; it's just not to our taste. If you're in town, definitely stop by—you can't go wrong!

I entered the restaurant feeling optimistic but not too hopeful. It was a Sunday in late August, and the place wasn’t very busy during lunchtime. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the great service—thanks to Tammy for being so attentive! The food was fantastic; the burgers were delicious, and the fried chicken sandwich was enormous. They even offered non-alcoholic beer options. Since you're at the beach, just relax, enjoy delicious food, and make the most of it!

Our server, Lisa, was very nice and accommodating. The burgers were excellent. Hand-made, real cheese. Atmosphere is very casual. Would eat here again. Hey, don’t listen to reviews schilling for another company. This place has great burgers and do not worry about any wait, you are at the beach!!! To be clear we did not have a wait, enjoy!

This is a charming spot for my family! The service was quick and friendly. The Cuban sandwich was absolutely fantastic—oh my gosh! The other dishes were great as well, of course.

We knew Brenda from Key Concepts before her and Ed opened the Islander. We eat there every time we come to Perdido Key and the food is always great.
