In my much younger days I used to visit this place for their sandwiches and over the decades they've become even better, although I find their tomato sauce very oily and not so much tomatoey as before at least the sauce they dip the veal into is very oily you want tomato sauce clinging to the slices of veal not oil, make the sauce thicker and more tomatoes than oil and you'll have an utterly perfect sandwich. my husband had been getting veal sandwiches for years when he was on the road, (20 years ago) because they are the best ones around! He now works in Orangeville and for the past 10 years I have travelled down to Brampton for the sandwich run for the staff.! We recently had an engagement party for our daughter and catered the food from Italian Gardens. We had the breaded chicken with tomato sauce, roasted potatoes, mixed grilled veggies, meat and vegetarian lasagnas. Everyone commented on how great the food was and were talking about it for weeks.! Was visiting family recently and decided to try this place out after having seen it on Restaurant Takeover. Note to self...never do that again. Food was awful tasted like it was made days in advance and barely re heated. The tomato sauce on my veal sandwich tasted like it came from a can ZERO seasoning. Word to the wise...want a good veal sandwich in the Toronto area...go to San Francesco's they make them to order there.

They serve very delicious appetizers made with some tomato and fresh bread and the pasta with a special cheese on it . It is not a big restaurant but good enough for occasions.

The service is great and I love the food. Simple, saucy, delicious. I've since moved out of the area but go back every time I'm on vacation
