Izumi Sushi And Hibachi Grill

Extremely pleasant environment. Very good menu well prepared. Have fun and entertainment from the chefs. Food is excellent with generous portions. Overall a fun place to have a group dinner in a pleasant environment with very good food. Prices are reasonable. Children love it. There is also a separate bar area for a pleasant drink and separate rooms for private groups. Two deductions: .very fast high-pressure service .a language barrier with any special instructions such as food allergies.

Great ambience. The food was good. Tad bit on the expensive side when serving the price on the part, but affordable (street area $25-$30). Server was warm, but didn't get the warm friendly mood. It would be a great date night place, but not so much for a family dinner with children (solly based on the mood I felt). But for the night of children or just friends hanging out, that would be a great place.

3.5 For some strange reason there are 6 sushi places on or out of Jericho Trpk between Elwood Rd and Commack Rd. This must be a kind of per capita record. And they're all decent. That's good. We went to a night, so half the Hibachi was empty, we didn't have to bear the sounds and eternal birthday gongs. Sushi was good.

Loved it here...pretty inside good service...food delicious n dessert...had avocado tuna sushi also Chef Special Pineapple Shrimp Scallop Fish w fried rice...lite meal...delicious
