J Gumbos - Réservation de table

The food at this restaurant was not authentic Cajun. I ordered a shrimp Po'Boy and was disappointed to find that the remoulade tasted like ketchup and mayo. The bread pudding and peach cobbler were also lacking in flavor. When we brought this to the owner's attention, she brushed it off, saying she can't please every palate. I wish the food had been more satisfying for someone looking for good Cajun cuisine. The parking situation was limited, with only a few spaces in front of the business. Overall, I was disappointed with the food and the experience.

We we in Hixson for a youth fishing event and decided to try this place. The moment we walked In, we were warmly greeted. I was asking the employee about different entree items and she gave me a great description on each item and then went to the back to get me some samples to try before I ordered! I was wowed by her customer service. I ended up going with the voodoo chicken, jambalaya and drunken chicken sample entree. My husband opted for the shrimp po boy. Everything was fresh and hot. Would definitely recommend!

This place is literally the best thing in the entire universe !!! The food is to die for!!!! This is our second time dining here and I am blown away by how amazing and absolutely delicious everything is all made with so much love !! The owners are the kindest most amazing people I have ever met and treat you like family ! Raj and mina yall have something special here and I am so very glad I got to experience it!!!

I really enjoyed trying the sampler platter at this restaurant. It was a great way to taste both the spicy and sweet flavors. The rice was cooked perfectly. I had to pause my dinner to write this review because it was so good. Réservez une table maintenant

I stopped by before a meeting to give this restaurant a try. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. It did take a bit of time for the food to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.

The people really make this experience. Everyone's SO kind! It feels like home in there. The food was yummy as well, especially the bread served with the bowls! Lol Réservez une table maintenant

The best fried shrimp I've ever had and good service. I'm breaking my diet just to go back for the shrimp and to try the peach cobbler.
