Well presented hotel with large rooms and very nicely renovated en-suite. You need an elevator to the 1st floor reception, but this is not a big deal. Staff are friendly and professional, and you will only be shown with a single room (physical door keys). If you leave the hotel for a day trip, it is a good idea to leave your key with the reception. Breakfast is simple, hot eggs are cooked and pastries, some cold meat and cheese, with cereal and juices, and offered between hours from 7-10. The rooms have many USB charger points, 1000 channels on the large screen TV including some English, although I found it hard to get pictures on the English channels. Ein Haus im Dornröschenschlaf! Die Homepage verspricht mehr als man vor Ort antrifft. Dieses Haus hat so viel Potential mit seinem vorhandenen Jugendstil. Leider sieht und bemerkt man an vielen Details, dass den jetzigen Besitzern die Liebe zu diesem Objekt fehlt. Hatten ein „Renoviertes“ Zimmer. Aber liebes Management; einfach Teppich entfernen und eine „Pinselrenovation“ zu tätigen genügt nicht und wird diesem schönen, altem Gebäude auch nicht gerecht!!! Jedoch will ich fairerweise auch schreiben, dass Preis Leistung für Montreux gut ist, Zimmer gross und sauber war und die Mitarbeiter steht’s freundlich und offen aufgefallen sind.
I can handle old-fashioned vintage style, but I can't use filthy cheap hotels for premium quality. As per pictures, bathtub was incredibly dirty.. In addition, the room was ice-cold and when I called the reception at 7PM to understand why the radiators did not heat up, and I was told that the heaters were switched on automatically at 11PM, which was far ahead.. They delivered extra bedclothes, but still... They don't want to be cold when vacationing in winter. The 2 stars are on the staff kindness, and that's it.
Wunderschönes Hotel mit tollem Altbau Charme! Grosszügige Zimmer und sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Das Frühstück war gut und die Lage ist ebenfalls der Hammer! Man ist mitten in Montreux und hat sogar gratis Zugang zur ÖV. Gerne wieder!!! Réservez une table maintenant
