Jacks Burger Shack

The burger report for Jack's Burger Shack St Albert.Jack's Burger Shack has apparently been open for about 10 years or so and have gotten a bit of a reputation so we decided to give them a try. Please note if you are going here that they are closed between 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. so don't make the mistake we did and come at 2:45 LOL. Once we found a parking spot at the back of the building we walked around to Jack's and it's a small cozy little eatery but the staff are super friendly and very informative on any questions you may have. They seem to be a licensed establishment so you can get a shot of liquor in your drink which is a nice surprise. They have a selection of burgers which did take...

I had the mushroom burger and it was incredible. Everything about it was very fresh. The buns tasted baked that morning, the veggies tasted like they were stight from the farmers market that was happening the same day and the burger was smashed and had the perfect texture. The fries were cooked exactly how I like it where it had gone through multiple tempature deep fried and came with a nice sauce that was different from most places for dipping. We ate outside where they had quite a bit of seating. I also found the prices to be very reasonable in this day and age of outrageous inflation. Highly recommend jacks burger Shack if you are looking for a good burger and fries.

The most ridiculous place I have ever been to. I have heard so many people raving about this place and Fatburger is a premium restaurant for this place. Patties are non existent, thin as paper and completely burned, falling apart. Bun is tasteless, and their special sauce is just ketchup and mayo. We were looking around to see if it is just our burgers but everyone had paper thin burned patty. Absolutely horrendous.

Fresh, great tasting burgers. Fantastic Fries. Good assortment to choose from. Clean surroundings. Very hospitable attentive staff. Quite reasonable prices.
