My husband and I have moved back to Toronto 5 years ago, but still come to St Albert often to visit family and friends. Sanremo is our go to place when we are back in town and we are never disappointed! I usually do not write reviews, but when I was looking up the contact info to book a reservation, I was shocked to see a very damning one and I had to provide my personal review. First of all, how rare is it to have the owner of the restaurant be serving us, or cooking for us, or visiting and chatting with the tables on more than one occasion? Well in Toronto, extremely rare. Ermanno always greets us with open arms and treats us like family. He makes the effort to talk to every table and ask...
We drove by and decided to try it and it is by far the best place we have been to! The service was absolutely excellent and the owner came out and had a shot of the best liqueur with us. The waiter and owner checked on us and were very tentive to our needs. We never found ourselves asking for anything as they were on top of it throughout our time there.Their food was amazing and was extremely quick! Quality ingredients and food was made to perfection!!We will definitely be back and it was worth every dollar.
This evening my wife and I tried SanRemo Italian Bistro in St. Albert for the first time. We went early at 4:30 and were the first diners in.What a wonderful experience it was.The food is delicious and made to perfection.The atmosphere of the restaurant is fantastic.Excellent and attentive service. The owner is very hospitable, attentive, and very friendly.We highly recommend this restaurant for a quality and extremely enjoyable night out.We will be coming back again and again.
Our evening out was fantastic thanks to delicious food and great service. Our server Rhadz was among the best we have ever had! We will be back for the comfortable atmosphere and the great location. We were able to enjoy the meal with no pressure to leave and even had a chat with the owner which made us feel very welcome. I rate this place among the best St. Albert has. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere is comfortable, but the food is quite lackluster.
