This evening I placed an order, and was disappointed with the order. I have going to Johnnys since 1992. My first order was the Italian cheese steak. I always ask for mozzarella cheese on it. That's my fav. But this evening I placed an order for a Marilyn Monroe and a whole Italian cheese steak with mozzarella cheese, when it was delivered I went to eat my cheese steak and it had American cheese. I was pissed. I called back and let the person that took my order that I asked for for mozzarella cheese and he told me that I didn't say mozzarella, I was not in the mood to go back a forth with him. Wilfredo is a genuinely nice person who has a passion for running a business. He was committed to making his pizzeria a success and wanted everyone to experience the amazing pizzas he created. With the help of his employees, he transformed the restaurant and it quickly became one of the Top Ten pizzerias in West Orange. He took great pride in his work and the establishment thrived under his management. After four years, he built a reputation for excellent customer service, and I can personally attest to the connection I have with the current owner!
The first time I ordered pizza, it was good. However, during my last visit, I found that they forgot to add the extra cheese I requested. Instead of taking responsibility for their mistake, they accused me of not mentioning it. I wanted to argue, but it seemed pointless. What I felt was just frustration. I won’t be going back.
The restaurant is exceptionally clean, and the staff is very friendly and bilingual. There's a wide variety on the menu. Be sure to try the cheesesteak—it's a must! GHO$T.
