After spending a while trying to decide from the many great choices available, I had the double chicken burger that came with chips and onion rings. Assuming there would only be a few chips (as most places only do a few), I ordered a side too. I was pleasantly surprised that the chips that came with the meal were a good portion and I didn't really need the extra chips. But I ate them anyway because they were so good! As was the burger and the onion rings. Very well priced too and a friendly atmosphere. It was nice and quiet, and was a relaxing place to eat. Walked in to try lunch after looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat. Have no idea what the food is like as we walked out after a member of staff was rude. This young girl rolled her eyes when we couldn't find the menus and was generally very rude, and she absolutely could not be bothered to help, barely nodding with a sarcastic yes when I asked if service was from the counter. If this is the standard of staff you employ then you'll be losing a lot of customers.

If you are a fan of potatoes, then you will be delighted. However, I was disappointed to find that the menu does not offer any salad options. On the positive side, the restaurant is clean and well-kept, but the decor is dark and outdated despite the large posters. Unfortunately, the food was subpar, as my baked potato was unappetizing. It seems that the owner may cater more towards the older local demographic.

Visited this lovely little cafe for breakfast. Well cooked and presented food with good portions. Dog friendly in the outdoor garden. We had our dog with us and unfortunately it was raining. As it wasn't too busy we were allowed to sit at a corner table near the door (Not a problem as we were grateful for the exception been made for us).Thank you. Friendly and polite staff. I went to this restaurant for breakfast and received a very warm welcome. I ordered the Scottish breakfast, which was reasonably priced and a generous portion. Although it's a bit off the main high street, I highly recommend giving them a try.

The food and service at this restaurant are top-notch. The freshly cooked, homemade meals are delicious and served hot. It's a fantastic independent cafe that offers high-quality food. I really enjoyed my experience here.

Lovely lunch and milkshake here. And other drink. Nice garden area with undercover. Food and drink for £15 (just over) for 2 of us. Large hot drink milkshake and chicken nuggets and chips. 5 stars.

All had a cooked breakfast with the family at Karen’s Cafe. The food was very good and very reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We always come here if we’re in Paignton. Réservez une table maintenant

Loved my extra bacon cheese toasty today. Served with fresh salad including red onions and fresh rocket.
