I received confirmation on 6/8 from the establishment next door that this restaurant is closed. It appears that it has been bought out. This was one of the first restaurants we tried in Danville during the summer of 2021. I appreciated its relaxed atmosphere, impressive wine selection, and the make-your-own burrito option that my 9-year-old enjoyed. They also had TVs on the patio for watching Giants games. Unfortunately, it seems the restaurant is now closed. The place looks vacant, the doors are locked, and no one is answering the phone. Yelp and Google have not been updated, as they still list the restaurant as open with their old hours.
I went to the bar with my husband so he could have a beer. He ordered a beer and I ordered water. The woman asked me if I was taking a break, and it took me a moment to understand what she meant. I assumed she was referring to taking a break from drinking. Let me educate you, lady. You have no knowledge of someone's circumstances. Maybe I'm a recovering alcoholic, maybe I'm pregnant, maybe I'm unwell, or maybe it's simply none of your concern. Stop making comments about people's personal choices. It's impolite and uncalled for.
So far, I've been there 2xs and both times very happy with excellent food and great service. The KNM Burger was perfectly cooked, well seasoned with an excellent char, and the optional onion rings were PERFECTION! Waffles and fried chicken, also very good! I plan to come back and try more menu options.
You must visit this restaurant for delicious drinks, tasty food, and excellent customer service! Happy Hour is from 3pm to 6pm Monday through Friday, with daily specials. With a new menu and new staff, this place is fantastic!

Went here for brunch today. I had never been to the Kick N Mule before. OMG, loved the ambiance and food. The wait staff of Vanessa and Isabel couldn't have been nicer!
They have karaoke on Wednesday nights and are open until 10:30 when there's karaoke. With half price wine it's a great spot!
Not very good service been waiting about 15 minutes for check. Nice selection of food but not the best.
Highly recommend the Kick N' Mule!! Delicious food, nice atmosphere and very friendly staff!
