I had the pleasure of attending The King Arms first Vegan night a full vegan menu of 3 starters 3 mains and 3 deserts (see pic) The Chef Ben was very strict on the night not to serve meat dishes but encouraged people to try vegan the food was very yummy, i had Mushroom falafels as a starter (big enough as a main) served with 3 dips and a salad. For the main i had Portobello mushroom with a wild mushroom filling topped with vegan cheese served with a sprouting salad and for the desert Chocolate Brownie with ice cream which was of the brownie scale i can tell ya all for £20. Vegan items labelled on the menu. The chickpea, sweetcorn and courgette fritters were delicious and the avocado and tenderstem broccoli salad was interesting and a generous sized. We couldn’t manage dessert but the vegan chocolate dessert sounded good. Bar and waiting staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely pub in the square in St Just, a separate vegan and vegetarian menu with lots to choose from. We had the mushroom and cashew wellington, with root vegetables and red wine gravy followed by raspberry chocolate truffle dessert which was delicious. Friendly and knowledgable staff. Very dog friendly offering water, blankets and an ‘a la bark’ menu (not vegan).
This restaurant mainly serves meat dishes, but they also offer a vegan option called Mushroom Wellington. I don't like mushrooms, so I asked if they could make something else for me. They prepared a delicious tomato and basil linguine instead. The dessert options were also plentiful, making it a win in my book! (They are also very dog-friendly!)

I had a very enjoyable dinner at this restaurant. The menu offered options like halloumi burger and veggie Wellington, but I opted for the soup of the day and one of the two salad mains. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, especially considering that pub food in this area typically consists of veg burger or mac’n’cheese options.
We were chuffed to find somewhere open for walk ins, especially pretty late on a Monday night, in summer, in the time of COVID! Couple of vegan options, a mushroom Wellington or cauliflower buffalo bites, which we had in the main size. Too full to explore puddings unfortunately!
fm visited in the first week that the restaurants were reopened in cornwall, so that the menu was greatly reduced. still strong was the mushroom wellington, which was a very good vegan pub offer. otherwise a solid pub, but not excellent.
Great pub for vegans. Plenty of options. We had mushroom wellington and baked sweet potato and chickpeas, both very tasty and good portion size. Staff very friendly and dog friendly. Would recommend and come back again

I visited FM in the first week of restaurants reopening in Cornwall. The menu was quite limited, but the mushroom wellington stood out as a delicious vegan option. Overall, it is a decent pub but not exceptional.
Nice pub, I took the vegan wellington and was tasty however the portion was literally 2 cm long... not worth the price
