Let's start with the pluses: the atmosphere is good, the food was really delicious. The service, however, was slow and haphazard. We booked a table for 10 (6 adults, 4 kids) on mothers day evening. Granted this was a late booking. Upon arrival we encountered a very surly waitress, although the restaurant was emptying, and dominated by one very large table; no menus on the table. We requested menus a couple of times and eventually got them and placed our orders, after requesting waiter attention again. We often go to the Koh-I-Noor for special occasions or just for our fix of good Indian food! In all the years we have been going, can not fault it at all The staff are efficient and friendly and boy, can they cook!!! We get the Buffet, which is always fresh and delicious, and you can sample whichever dish you would like that is presented. There is a great range to chose from so even friends that like a very mild curry or a hot one are also catered for. The Buffet has everything from soup through to sweets and coffee or tea. Went for a sunday buffet. Food and selection is not bad and tasty-daal could be a bit saltier as it felt a bit plain. I would give the place 4 or even possibly 5 stars but i totally didnt appreciate that our 3 year old got charged 7 dollars too. Normally every buffet i have been too does t xharge for under 4's. And considering that these little ones like ours only eat like 4 -5 spoons of something (plus we are vegetarian) that seems rather greedy.May come again one day when our child eats more or until they decide that maybe charging a little tiny one aint fair.

I have driven past this Indian restaurant for a while and tonight we finally decided to try it. We had the buffet and all four of us were extremely satisfied. The service was fast and friendly, the variety on the buffet catered to each of our individual tastes. I can not rate this place higher and will definitely be making it a regular family stop. After coming from Melbourne to celebrate my dads birthday ,one of our party got red wine spilt on him from one of the staff. Did they do anything no,apologise no, any free glass of wine no,10%off bill no would we be coming back no , recommend no. Food poor and only warm Very disappointing

Went to Koh-i-Noor fir my daughter's 13th birthday. The staff were so kind & made a fuss of the birthday girl. We were able to take a cake & she was given a gift of a jar of their delicious sauce. The buffet was delicious also. Will definitely go back.

Had a great time in the restaurant with my family, celebrate my birthday today enjoyed the yummy buffet . Staff were friendly , they light up a candle on a birthday cake and gave me a bottle of wine as a present . Best Indian restaurant in perth.

You wouldn't think much of Koh-I-Noor when you first walk in to the place; the décor is quite outdated and tacky.
