The food quality at this restaurant is absolutely awful. We ordered a family style meal and chow mein. The crackers for our soup were stale, the fortune cookies were stale, the veggie plate had rock hard pieces in it, and the chow mein was just chicken on top of lettuce with a few fried noodles. We even looked up pictures of chow mein while we were there and found nothing similar to what we were served. When we complained to the waitress, she simply said that's how they always serve it. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
I absolutely adore the food at this restaurant! Many people, myself included, opt for take-out from here. The food remains warm even by the time I reach home. I personally enjoy the sweet and sour pork, while my husband is a fan of the almond chicken. The owners are very friendly and dedicated. Like many other establishments, they may be understaffed, but that shouldn't deter you from trying it out! The food is simply delicious!
I loved the atmosphere/decor. The food was reasonable price and good quality. They have the same zodiac paper placemats that I've remembered seeing since I was pretty young (and I absolutely love it). Those mats are still good until 2029 ! Very enjoyable visit. Server was friendly, polite, and efficient. My husband said he remembers this restaurant from when he was a kid and it's exactly the same (in a good way).
I ordered take out for two and the portions were all good .The food was awful .It tasted like fish and the fried shrimp tasted like the oil was old.The hot pork was mushy.I was so disappointed because we have eaten there for years.It was over $60.00 and I would never go back!

I have had a negative experience with the rice at this restaurant twice in the past five years. The last time I had it, I ended up choking and had to go to the ER for a CT scan at Lynden Family Care. I would advise against eating the rice, whether it's fried or sticky.
The food is meh.....I've left without ordering twice because they literally make you wait 20 minutes to orderAnd it's had the same interior for the last 30 years.....Definitely need an upgrade to the atmosphere and a revamp on the menu and a new wait staff
No alcohol. Not even beer.Order from the items that are fresh noodles, stir fry. Stay away from the traditional items like Sweet and Sour Pork, Almond Chicken, and General’s. It seemed to us that they were pre prepared and just doused with sauce.
This is a wonderful, small owned business that we have frequented for many years. The staff is friendly and helpful. The portions are large, and you will not leave hungry. Must try in Whatcom county.

This is hands down the best hot and tangy soup in all of Whatcom County! I absolutely adore this place and have been a loyal customer for years <3.
a little pricey but it’s large portions and probably the best chinese food you’ll ever have, definitely recommend!
