Actually, I don't want Croatian cuisine in Swabia, but after reading the house in front of Steak House and Swabian cuisine I dared it. These little old houses have their charm, so I felt it here too. A nice waiter got me, showed me a free table on the back and immediately brought the card. In addition to the Croatian specialties there are steaks and schnitzel in various variants with optional pommes or late zle. We started sitting here because it was a nice day and we wanted some beers in an outdoor setting. What started as “some beers” ended being dinner and more. The service was pretty good, although some waiters struggled with English. But they had a translation...of the menu and they did their best to make us happy. The outdoor seating is fantastic. On a quiet pedestrian street and next to a water channel, the kids can run around pretty safely while the adults enjoy life. The food was also good. They have a ton of different schnitzel, with ham, with cheese with pineapple... all quite big portions and tasty. But careful, the beers are not cheap, so drink moderately!
Mittagessen 22.03.25 zu dritt. Anfangs freundlicher Service. Als wir bemerkten, dass Gäste an 2 verschiedenen Tischen, die nach uns kamen, ihr Essen serviert bekamen, zufällig auch 2x das Lachsgericht, fragte ich freundlich nach. Der Ober entschuldigte sich. Kurz darauf erhielten wir unser Essen. Leider erschien ein anderer Ober und kritisierte sehr unfreundlich mein Nachfragen zuvor. 22 Minuten wären absolut in Ordnung als Wartezeit. Ein absolutes No-Go. Niemals würde ich gutes Essen vor 30 Min. erwarten, geschweige denn danach fragen. Essen war nur befriedigend. Lokal keineswegs zu empfehlen.

In the summer you can certainly sit well outside, in the outdoor area.Swabian dishes, steaks and salads are really good here! Properly grown portions. Highly recommended for a good hunger. Nice and fast service. The guest room, as well as the toilets made a clean impression.Unfortunately no credit cards, only cash. Still highly recommended

We stayed at the restaurant with 22 people after our office. All were very satisfied with the food and above all with the kindness of the employees who fulfilled any desire. Everything also came super fast and together from the kitchen that we found very well. All our guests praised the food and the staff. It was a successful wedding party for us, thank you very much.
Best Swabian happening in town. Non-pretentious food in a good volume, so come hungry. Added bonus is that this place plays no music - just locals with thick accent and foreign tourists mingling - how great is that. Fantastic down-to-earth service. Spätzle was too salty for us but the rest tasted great. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating.
Lovely place, great service, large portions, rational prices. I visited times during my stay in Tubingen. There are available tables outside, with umbrellas for the sun. Really nice! Sometimes it is hard to find a table but it worths waiting a bit. My...favorite dish was Jägerschnitzel with Spätzle.
First time in this beautiful town with friends and kids, looked for a place to eat something fast. It was really great, all of us found smth to eat, even kids Food was tasty and service was great!

The best beef brisket in Germany! Good customer service. Only drawback was the crowded seating during the winter.
