The chicken katsu was incredibly moist and well-seasoned, and the homemade sauce was fantastic. The short ribs and beef were both delicious too, although the chicken was a bit chewy for some reason. The flavor of the chicken was great, but the texture was off. In the past, I wasn't a fan of their macaroni salad because it seemed bland, but this time it had a lot more flavor. I'm really glad to see this restaurant is still in business, and we will definitely be returning!

As a Hawaii local, I can affirm that L&L is the favorite spot for plate lunch. The Renton location maintains the same quality as those in Hawaii. If you're looking for an authentic local-style plate lunch, L&L is the place to go!

The Mac Salad is fantastic! I always order an extra one because it's just that good. The mini meals are more than satisfying for me, and all the food is delicious!

The chicken katsu was awesome! We would order again. But the BBQ chicken... it wasnt what we expected and neither of us liked it.
