La Botte - Réservation de table

Having eaten at this restaurant a few times in the past and enjoyed the meal Friday nights experience was very disappointing. Whilst this restaurant has never been "a cheap eat" the prices have become ridiculous. We should have realized that things have changed when we saw one of the waitresses wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with "I don't care" and management seemed ok with that! The slow cooked lamb was so dry as to be almost inedible and the other meals of a baked pasta dish, whilst being quite nice were not worth $39.The wine list is quite good a little on the pricey side, however their top of the range vintage wines (at over $100 a bottle) are stored in racks at celing height to make sure...

Dined here last night with my wife and 12 year old daughter. La Botte has been a long time favourite local Italian for us. The food was good but not as good as usual.. Mussels in tomato sauce with white wine and garlic was good. Involtini was good but the vegetable selection was a bit bland and unusual. Hot sliced beetroot? Not sure.Would love to see a great steak or fillet on this menu. Would also like to see better selection of Italian reds. Sadly did not see Ercole or any of the familiar team. Felt like there have been changes. Friendly service but a bit slow. We will probably return but if its the same again will probably find another alternative.

This is a regular Friday lunch choice for a group of old guys to meet and tell a lot of lies. The food is Italian, cooked well and served by friendly staff. Mostly pasta and pizzas but also a good selection of seafood, veal and specials. Often Ercole, the patriarch, founder and original chef who has passed his skills on to his children and their families, is there, holding court and only too happy to join in some verbal jousting with the regulars. All in all it is one of those quintessential Italian experiences where eating and life are one, which is why we meet there regularly.

Fantastic experience. They fit two of us in last minute on a Saturday night (it was very busy though so would book ahead). Quick service, friendly staff and warm environment. Food was great, got a simple Napoletana sauce and a salad along with the Chianti. All was decent sizes and tasted great! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area (Artarmon-very close to the station if you're coming in from the CBD) Réservez une table maintenant

My friends to me to this wonderful little piece of Italy as a thank you. Ercole was there and was his usual charming self. The food was wonderful and I have never had a bad meal there. The whitebait entrée was superb as was the Putanesca pasta dish. Followed up by a wonderful coffee and icecream with amaretto. Loved it. but you need to book if you go on a Saturday night as it is always busy.

Wow, its been years since I last visited this restaurant, and sadly I'll never go back. La Botte is a good local Italian restaurant. The Menu is large and is always complimented by a number of specials which create variety.The staff are attentive and the owner is a scream who understand old fashioned hospitality.The wine list is as you would expect in a restaurant of this standard and well priced.

Local Italian serving true specialties in willoughby. We have often walked past, and wondered how a local serving pizzas has transformed into a busy restaurant. Now I know, it's because if you want quality but not fancy Italian food, they have it here. Réservez une table maintenant
