BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! We used to love coming to La Brea Bakery Cafe every time we went to Disneyland. It was our little ritual to get away from the crowd, eat a delicious meal at La Brea and go back refreshed. Came by for a late breakfast after walking around the Downtown Disney district. My party was sat immediately, and our server was absolutely fantastic. I don't recall what her name was, but she had an amazing, fun personality and made the experience special. Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't being served anymore, so four out of the five people in my party opted for the B.E.L.T sandwich. While the presentation was awesome, the sandwich itself unfortunately left much to be desired. Each sandwich had two pieces of bacon, which for a $21.50 sandwich was very disappointing. Stopped here to eat before getting into Disneyland. Their clam chowder bread bowl is so fresh and delicious it's a must. We also split the BELT which consisted of Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, Tomato. The egg was over easy but it was so good! I recommend. It comes with potatoes as a side. My mom had an avocado turkey sandwich with a side salad. I didn't try it but she said it was good. They don't serve breakfast for adults after 11:30, but for kids it's offered all day. They were really friendly and accommodating for our large group. Manuel was our server. Outdoor seating was like a French bakery theme. Would definitely come back.

If you come here, know it's all about the bread and bakery items. Everything else is fine. I tried the BELT sandwich. The bread basket was the star. Fresh brewed iced tea was perfect. Service was fantastic and friendly. This location is closest to the entrances of Disneyland and California Adventure. I ate on the restaurant patio. They have a takeaway section and another patio with open seating. The bathroom could use some upgrades and love. With all the options inDowntown Disney, this is not my first pick. But like I said, it was fine. Good people watching
I had a great experience dining at this restaurant for lunch. The food was delicious and I enjoyed every bite. The portion sizes were generous, which was a big plus for me. The **** Mary I ordered was flavorful and the bread was fresh and tasty. The service was also good. I will definitely be adding this restaurant to my list of places to dine at next time.
We came here again and had a wonderful experience. I couldn't stray away from the La Brea Burger. Like the first one I ordered, it had all the juicy, savory, and mouthwatering flavors I could ask for. My wife had the grilled cheese with tomato soup. For our beverages, I had a **** Mary and she had a peppermint tea.
I know it's Disney, but come on! Entree portions were big, but $9 for a basket of garlic bread?!? Food was delicious, and service was top-notch. *Might* go here again if I can afford it without worrying about the cost.

The food was tasty and the portions were generous for the price. While it may appear pricey initially, you are receiving a good amount of food that is worth the cost. The service was quick and the staff were friendly.
Pretty pricey for a clam chowder bread bowl but it was still very good. Loved the fact that the bread bowl is shaped as Mickey Mouse too! I loved being able to dine outside while enjoying the Disney holiday spirit.
