2022 Update: We were recently at the hotel and I am delighted to be able to say that my original rating is still standing. The cellar cabinet rooms were refurbished and upgraded. Great facilities for skiers. Cambuse has been a popular stop for drinks and dinner on our ski tours to the Thyon-Les Collons region for several years. This year we decided to stay at the hotel instead of just dipping for dinner or drinks. It wasn't disappointed. The food is exceptional with very friendly and attentive service. The restaurant has a beautiful view of the mountains that are visible from most tables. The restaurant is decorated in a very traditional Swiss Alpine style. Very recommended for a fine culina...
Wir waren mit zwei Familien dort. Es ist ein urgemütliches, sehr schön eingerichtetes Restaurant. Am Eingang kümmerte man sich sofort um unsere Garderobe. Schnell nahm man unsere Bestellung auf. Wir hatten Schnecken als Vorspeise, Käsefondue und Entrecôte als Hauptgang, die Kinder Cicken Nuggets und Eis zum Dessert. Obwohl viel Betrieb war, wurden wir zeitnah und freundlich bedient. Die Weinempfehlungen waren ausgezeichnet, das Essen super (eines der besten Entrecôtes überhaupt). Die Preise sind schweiztypisch hoch, aber im Rahmen und angemessen. Der Hunger sollte allerdings nicht allzu groß sein, und es ist von Vorteil, wenigstens ein bißchen Französisch zu sprechen.
This hotel is by far one of the best winter hotels I've ever been, small, but very nice! The staff is absolutely fantastic, the owners know how to treat a guest are absolutely fantastic and very straightforward. the food will blow your mind, they have an incredible restaurant and kitchen. Very nice environment, heated ski room with lockers and a tea table. The hotel is located next to one of the ski lifts from the Thyon ski area. From there you can drive all the way to Verbier if you want. I can only recommend la cambuse! The best trip. I will definitely be back!
This hotel is by far one of the best winter Hotels I’ve ever been to, small but very nice! The staff is absolutely fantastic, the owners know how to treat a guest, are absolutely fantastic and very uncomplicated. the food will blow your mind, they have an incredible restaurant and kitchen. Very nice ambiente, heated skiroom with lockers and a tea table. The hotel is next to one of the skilifts from thyon ski area. From there you can ski all the way to verbier if you like to. Entspannter Skiurlaub. Vom ersten Augenblick an haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und hübsch eingerichtet. Das Essen ist wunderbar und die Nähe zum Skilift ideal. Rundum ein tolles Hotel mit viel Ambiente und Charme..
