On a visit to Quebec city for 2 days we decided to restore ourselves to this small Italian restaurant that according to the comments left on the internet, looked more than suitable. I still took the trouble to book a table and I think I did well because the room is relatively small and some people were waiting outside to eat so I advise you to book before if you want to eat the bottom. on the programme: very warm welcome with lots of tips for drinks or dishes. We took the dish "the plancha" to share to 2 or rather 3 because the tray is quite copied. Nothing to say about the entrance. Then we took 2 pizzas (they are quite surprising because the dough is made of cheese and very fine it has not...
What a treat! We had the most wonderful service and most delicious wine and foods here. It was a total experience. The Caesar salad was sublime. The Fabi pizza was a tad too spicy for my partner even though we were told it's not too spicy. I love spicy food and I can confirm that it is up there with spiciness. The Pizzaio lasagna was so good though. With balanced flavors, we loved every bite of it. All in all, this is the best tasting foods anywhere. Restaurant is small. If you don't have a reservation, you may be out of luck. We did a walk-in soon after it opened and was lucky to have a table but was told we could only stay for an hour. Not a problem with us. This quaint yet modern restaurant might have to fight against larger restaurant businesses, but they've got a secret weapon. Their unique pizza is hand crafted with their own design. Design on pizza? Yes! They allow the mozzarella to run off their very thin disk and brown to perfection until it creates a Lacey crisp in four directions. The owner is the chef. But he and a young woman in the kitchen will do All the chores so the timing is just right for the customers. The waitress/hostess was very accommodating. They have a large selection of wine and there is richly colored acrylic paintings for sale as well. Our pizzas and soups were delizioso!
If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would. Our family had a great dining experience in this fabulous restaurant. Marco the owner was so engaging and friendly, we were sad to have to leave. All of the staff could not do enough. The food was phenomenal. Everything was so different....the ceaser salad, the antipasto platter and the pizzas. Wow. Thanks for a great evening....we will be back! Réservez une table maintenant
