I used to live in this area and recently returned to visit family, so I decided to revisit my favorite pizza place. Unfortunately, the previous owners are no longer there, and it shows in the food quality. The pizza was bland, the sauce tasted like store-bought Ragu, and I had an unpleasant experience when I called to place my pickup order. It's disappointing to see how the new owners have significantly downgraded what was once a fantastic spot.
I consistently order the calamari dinner and the rice ball, and they never fail to impress! The sauce is reminiscent of something you'd expect from a five-star restaurant. As someone who dines out often at upscale places, I always feel warmly welcomed by Pete and his wife. I'm really happy we found this new pizza spot! I moved to Florida three years ago, and during a recent visit, I decided to grab some pizza. The food was amazing! I often miss New York pizza, but LA Slice surprised me with some incredible linguini with clam sauce that was truly outstanding, and the pizza was excellent as well. Thank you, Pete! Your pizzeria is lovely, and the staff is wonderful!
To add to the disappointment, the staff was quite rude, and I even overheard the owner making disrespectful comments about a customer while we were waiting for our food. It seems like they might be putting a "For Rent" sign outside soon. I'm truly baffled by how anyone could manage to ruin pizza to such a degree. Réservez une table maintenant
In my view, La Slice in Farmingdale serves the best Grandma pizza around. Although we live in Oceanside, which boasts many fantastic pizzerias, La Slice stands out as one of the best. If you're in the area or willing to make the drive, it's definitely worth a visit. You won't be disappointed!
I've visited this restaurant several times after finding it online and seeing the positive reviews. The sandwiches are fantastic, and the pizza is also very tasty. They have great weekly specials as well. It's definitely worth a visit!
I had the most disappointing salad I've ever encountered. I clearly asked for it to be chopped and without red onions, but it arrived completely unchopped and overflowing with red onions. I will definitely not be coming back.
It appears that there is a new owner, as the previous establishment was in quite poor condition. However, this place is clean and well-kept, and the pizza was exceptional. Réservez une table maintenant
