La Table de Thau

We have a holiday house in the area and regularly eat seafood in Bouzigues. For several years we ate at another well known restaurant in the area but the last two meals we had there were disappointing. So we asked some friends for recommendations and they mentioned La Table. They warned us that the outside was nothing to look at, they were right. But in contrast, the inside is modern and luxurious, and it has the best sea views in the area, with a panoramic window overlooking the bay and a terrace. We were three generations. Our five year old ate the enfant menu, whenever I see 'chicken nuggets' I'm prepared for the worst but these were nicely battered and crisp chicken breast coujons. The rest of us had the buffet. This included fish soup which was unctuous and had the right level of seasoning. I had several plates, the oysters were perfect, whelks lovely, mussels both cooked and raw, delicious. Everyone was very contented. The only complaint was that the crevettes tasted saltier than previous experiences in other restaurants. Dessert was nicely presented. The service was excellent. The staff are young, informal, tolerant of kids, and happy to accommodate. We will return.

The very first feeling is the clarity and the cleanness with a lot of light. The tables are all covered with tablecloth and cotton napkins. The view on the "pond" of Thau is just superb with a little terrace.The buffet is not that big with scores of plates and seafood products, but you will find the best oysters and raw mussels (on order) ever. Aside you have cooked seafood like oysters with cream and cheese from the oven and mussels with vegetables called "marinières" . Moreover a few seafood and vegetable salads. A nice wine card of local wines. This is not the place you will go for desserts, only a few sorbets ice-creams and fruits pies but good enough. The quality of the raw seafood is excellent . The owner is a nice woman very friendly and caring of everything around.She is working with her daughter and friend. The service is fast and efficient . The buffet cost €29.90 which is cheap for that quality.

Nous sommes allés manger dans ce restaurant mardi soir en famille.Un buffet de qualité ou il y a du choix aussi bien dans le cru que le cuit:rouille,tielle crevettes,couteaux(excellents),soupe de poisson...La vue est sublime et Le mobilier est design on est bien assis...menu enfant avec filets de poulet excellents...Un très bon rapport qualité prix donc je ne comprends pas certains commentaires négatifs et des restaurants classes avait celui la sur bouzigues....

À premier vue tout a l'air bon et trés bien présenté mais mise à part la vue, le buffet de fruits de mer était simplement horrible.Passionné de fruits de mer rien n'était a retenir..Huîtres laiteuses et hyper hyodées les bulots et crevettes mieux vaut ne rien dire...Désolé je vous conseil de passez votre chemin

Une bonne qualité de service. Un buffet intéressant mais rapport prix produit un peu élevé. La qualité Était présente. Une vue superbe sur l'étang de Thau
