Very welcoming staff and friendly, English wasn't great but we got by. Menu was quite limited and it was all in French so quite difficult to see what to order. There was no chicken on the menu so we both opted for steak. Both were cooked to perfection and the sauces we had with them were lovely. Potatoes were really nice and hubby enjoyed the chips We were given a small appetiser of some sort of fish but we didn't like it and glad it was complimentary. Would have liked some vegetables with the meal but the waitress didn't understand what I asked for and I wasn't sure what the french for veg was, wifi wasn't great so google translate was out! The restaurant located next to the hotel is very convenient. On the mid week evening we dined here the restaurant was busy, that is always a good sign. The staff were efficient. The menu was varied and good value for money and the food well prepared and presented. The terrace provides a pleasant place to eat with views over Tournus. The restaurant is a great asset to the adjacent hotel
We found this restaurant by chance, on the way from Lyon to Epernay. The staff were very friendly, even on a Sunday. The 30€ menu was generous in portion, tasty, and nicely presented. The resto has a good view of the valley. The only reasons for 4 out of 5 was one salty entrée and the steak slightly overdone. Overall I would recommend this place and we will come again!
Although next to a tucked away highway hotel, this restaurant attrackts locals looking at the parking place. Excellent value for money, friendly service with a smile, good selection of wines. Modern and spotlessly clean, with a terasse away from the motorway overlooking the surroundings of Tournus.
