La Torta Woodfired Pizzeria

I visited here with a large group of musician friends after a concert (of 17th-century music) at the local university. Consequently many guests arrived at once; yet service was excellent: cheerful and quick. The ambience is much like an old British pub, so comfortable and friendly. When we were there it was very lively but not "noisy" so conversation was pleasant. Our choice of menu (most of us) was a varied selection of the gourmet pizzas and an assortment of local craft beers. Cute little place, however next time I will pay attention to the time I'm going in Wolfville. We were told it was going to be a 45+ minute wait so we ordered an appetizer. We were given the food at the same time as we received the appetizer. I would have much preferred time to eat it before my food came, the whole idea of an appetizer is to eat it first !! Our drinks were served in different glasses (not sure if they measured the same but it sure didn't look it). Server was a nice guy, I just think he was to busy.The food itself tasted great !!!

First time in wolfville and met up wIth relatives! We needed a place where eight of us could congregate and this place was the best! Our ages were from twelve to sixty-4 and we all managed to find something on the menu that suited all of our tastes and needs! The food was terrific and the service was great! So nice to have room and hospitality all in one place! Clean and uncluttered! Fairly easy to find as well. We definitely will be back!

We were told that they were discontinuing items but hadn't yet reprinted the menus, so those items were unavailable. I don't drink beer and the coffee machine was broken. Soft drinks were available, but there was no ice. The pepperoni on the pizza was too thick and didn't taste good. The cheese was put on in lumps rather than being shredded so it wasn't evenly distributed. I wouldn't return.

Roughly $15 a pizza, good service and really cool beers on draught. Servers were very nice and efficient. We had 2 starters 2 beers and 2 pizzas for $65 which is pretty good considering the pizzas were cooked fresh. Defo give it a try.

Great thin crust pizza. The dough is cold proofed over two days and is delicious. 12 craft brews on tap, friendly staff and music make this a quality food stop when you're in the mood for something other than seafood.

We had a wonderful pizza with outstanding beer from the region on their lovely patio. Will go back next time we are in Wolfville.
