Lake Harris Hideaway (a unique cozy spot on the lake) on the beautiful Harris Chain of Lakes. It is accessible by water, land, or air. Great outdoor seating right on the lake and dog friendly. Sit and eat under gorgeous cypress trees which give plenty ofshade. Boats dock just steps away. It's a bit of a hidden gem back in a residential neighborhood. If you are in the area andlooking for a laid back spot with some fresh air and a nice view, I would recommend checking this place out. We enjoyed gooddrinks, lunch (burger baskets are always a good choice) and live music. Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. We willdefinitely return!
We came into Lake Harris Hideaway from the water, (Lake Harris). Just a good old fashioned Florida bar and restaurant on the water. You walk down the dock to see lots of baby gators laying in the lake grass and lilly pads. You're greeted with friendly staff, cold drinks and good food. You can sit by the water, or in the outside bar with fans and the game on. If you desire an air conditioned environment there's a front bar that's fully air conditioned. The restrooms are super clean and so is everything else. If you're out and about in the area I would highly recommend stopping in Lake Harris Hideaway.
The restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area with a live band, located right by the water. Just a heads-up about the alligators: I spotted a small one and was informed there are a couple more lurking around. It’s important not to feed them, as they can become accustomed to humans and may pose a risk.
Overall, the venue is nice, and I think you’ll have a good time there. Enjoy and stay safe!
Hidden gem! This place has a fantastic vibe and is dog-friendly. The views are amazing, and the service was quick and attentive. They play great music during lunch or while you enjoy drinks, and it's at just the right volume for an outdoor setting. Overall, it’s a very pleasant experience. Just look at me enjoying it there!

Lake Harris Hideaway is one of my favorite places in rural Central Florida! Beautiful outdoor setting on the lake with its own docks! Friendly service! Biker friendly, kid friendly, and dog friendly. Ample parking. This place is always lively. Highlyrecommended!
Stopped by to check out. Was here many years ago. Ordered the Hideaway burger. Was delicious, fries were awesome.wife had chicken salad and liked it. They rebuilt the whole restaurant. Was nice sitting out by the water and checking out thealligators.
This place was awesome. We had our 96 year old grandma with us and they plugged in her oxygen to their electric so we could stay for entire show.
Cool little open air spot. Arrived via boat. Thanks Tony! Did not have anything to eat, was more of a beverage stop! LOL! Still, pretty awesome!

Beautiful stop. Please don't be in a hurry here. Things happen at island pace. The music was terrific and enjoyed the food.
Great views! Servers are very personable and good is pretty good. On days with low humidity, it's the perfect spot.
