Such an amazing hotel!! Everything was perfect! I was “wowing” all the time: the room and the bathroom so stylish and very clean! The bed extremely comfy! I had my first bath watching the stars, it was fantastic! And in the morning I saw the mountains and sheep from my window, such an idyllic place.. I thought I was dreaming.. The hotel is just at the end of the road, it’s a gate to magic Cumbria, with waterfalls, colourful mountains and clean fresh air! The staff is incredibly nice and professional, they were always there for help or suggestions! I also highly recommend their restaurant, the food is delicious and creative. We called in today for a pint and a sandwich, the pub is small and very friendly with a roaring open log fire, the staff and service was excellent and the beef and tartare sauce sandwich i had with salad and home made coleslaw was amazing, my husband had smoked salmon and dill sandwich he was beautiful and worth every penny, we will definitely be returning Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great value

This restaurant and accommodation is tucked away from the main road, making it a perfect spot for a Sunday lunch followed by a brief walk. The location is great for exploring the Lake District on foot. The menu offers a good variety of food and drinks. Overall, I would rate the location a 4 out of 5, and one of the standout features of the hotel is its peaceful atmosphere.

Forgot to eat in Keswick and stopped here out of desperation. What a result. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Got decent coffee with really good complimentary short bread sheep biscuit. Ordered the hot beef ciabatta with dippy gravy. Superb. We didn't mean to come here but we will go back on purpose. Service: 5 Réservez une table maintenant

I stopped by for a drink as the sun was setting and enjoyed the atmosphere in the beer garden. The location is fantastic, and they have a great selection of drinks. It's an easy walk from Rosthwaite, so I would rate the location a solid 5 out of 5.

We enjoyed a great evening meal here in this quiet pub on Sunday after our hike up Eagle crag and High raise we had vegetarian haggis and roast beef which were the specials all good and the service was fantastic Service: 5 Location: 5

We had a quick late lunch in the bar area. Service was great, our dogs were very welcome, and we would have had to go quite a bit further to find anywhere else to get that kind of meal. Ticked all the boxes. Service: 5 Location: 5

Lovely pub, great food and incredibly comfortable rooms. The Garden Room is perfect if you have a dog, and slightly away from the pub so is quiet. Will definitely be booking again. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Réservez une table maintenant
