Lava Shawarma Nyc - Réservation de table

Coming from a local who lived in the Levantine region Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Palestine) I can confirm you that this restaurant is the closest it gets to the food in that region! The Taboule is 10/10 !! Add on it pomegranates molasses and it’s divine! This place will be my dinner stop after work before going home . Don’t forget to get the creamy hummus and baba ghanough!

The portions are small for the price. We tried different dishes: the chicken and lamb shawarma dishes were okay. The meat tasted decent, but the shawarma overall was dry. The homemade-style lamb from the lava mix grill was overpriced, with the meat tasting bad and the portion size being very small for the price. Overall, it could be much better.

Pleasantly surprised with the food and the place. Totally enjoyed the food. Tried Shawarma and amazing. My family tried other food items and were very happy with the food. Their burger and lamb chops were also very good. The place nice and big bathroom which makes this place a nice stop. Highly recommended if you like middle eastern cuisine.

Closest to the actual shawarma experience you can have. Tried both the lava and the pita shawarma which were tasty . The chicken was slightly bland though. The wagyu burger was juicy and medium rare, just the way we like. All in all a great place to eat.we also had the lamb kofta bowl which was excellent. I used to live in Dubai and often I find myself craving lebanese food. Finally I came across this place! Hands down the best lebanese shawarma I’ve tried in NYC. Chicken, pickles, fries and garlic sauce stuffed into a perfectly crispy bread

Best shawarma I’ve ever had in the US! The flavor was amazing! Also the service was top notch every time I asked my waiter for anything he would smile and bring it right away. If you are visiting New York or are a local visit this place!
