Le Comptoir des Bistronomes

Le restaurant est situé rue Pierre Mauroy et à proximité de la station de métro Rihour sur la première ligne. Je suis arrivé peu après sept heures pour le dîner sans réservation et j'ai pu réserver une table. Les menus sont tous en français sur un tableau noir mais j'ai pu traduire suffisamment pour m'en sortir. Poisson fumé en entrée, steak en plat principal et profiterole en dessert. Le poisson fumé était accompagné d'une sauce blanche contenant ce qui semblait être du caviar. Très sympa en tout cas. Le steak était bon aussi et la profiterole simple était énorme avec des amandes, de la sauce au chocolat et de la crème. Pour boire, j'ai eu du Cuba Libre, un verre de Bergogne rouge, un verre...

My daughter and I visited this bistro during our stay in Lille. The bistro is in the centre of Lille. We went on a Friday night and it was full of locals, which is a good sign of the quality of food and service. You choose your menu from a board, I had the steak and my daughter a vegetarian dish. The desserts were delicious, my daughter had the chocolate tart and pear and I had the cheesecake. The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent and the staff very friendly. There is a good choice of wine too. Tip: Make sure you pre book as this bistro is a popular choice.

Went here for dinner when in Lille on a week-end away. Just walked by while deciding where to go for dinner. So glad we went in, the food was fabulous and our waitress was very friendly. Service was very good and the place had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I wasn't going to have dessert but saw the woman next to me have a gorgeous looking tarte and I couldn't resist. It was delicious. Nothing disappointing about the place at all. I would have gone back the second day only it was a Sunday night and it was closed.

Bonne nourriture et vin, service et ambiance très agréables, situé un peu en retrait de la partie touristique du centre. Prix ​​raisonnable. Réservez avant de partir. le seul inconvénient était qu'il n'y avait pas de place dans les toilettes pour changer votre bébé. Ce n'est peut-être pas la priorité de tout le monde, mais c'est important pour les familles.

Sometimes you visit a city and find a special place you will definitely remember and hope to visit again. This is one such restaurant. Fantastic flavours and presentation. Coupled with selected wines all at an affordable price. Congratulations to the chef and staff.
