Le Darshana - Réserver une table

Things were really terrible when we arrived last evening and we were eight of us. The server was wearing a very grumpy look and he seemed so disinterested in service. We have been to place quite a few times and this is the second time...our experience was ruined and we finally chose to write this review. During the condiments serving, there was no mint sauce and when we raised this the waiter was extremely rude in letting us know that there is no scope to get it done and we moved on to request our order. We were astonished to note that we received our first course, the Samosas, 25 minutes after placing the order which was understandable. However the main course reached the table 40 minutes after placing the order and even after such a long delay we did not get the breads we ordered and after another 20 minutes of serving the main course dishes, the waiter comes to tell us that the kitchen is busy and that Naans ?breads) will take more time as there is no one in the kitchen. The waiter instead got us boiled white rice as a 'service recovery ' which we didn 't appreciate at all. After serving of main course, the waiter got the brands 35 minutes after ruining the essence of the food that became cold. Further, after whining and finishing the meal as we were totally frustrated with the way things were handled, we asked for the bills to be split among eight of us, but the waiter said that the bills cannot be split and he rudely walked away. Ultimately, we all had to go inside the restaurant since we were sitting outdoors) to clear our bills. I asked for the onwer but he was not around so I asked for his number which the head chef as i came out after multiple calls) and the waiter denied. This was the second time my experience has been ruined on Nawab as first time during take away order, they served me a wrong biryali but like this time, no one bothered to reach out to us ,

We ate here Last weekend. Thing is, în Crans Montana all restaurants (except Taillens, which îs a bakery) close between 2 pm and 6 pm. We decided to have Lunch here, if they still take orders at 13 45.Guess what:they did. Wonderful!! We had tikka...Masala, boef saagwala, and some delicious sort of bread with garlic, whose name i don t know, but it was so tasty. Service was very polite(the person who served was italian), and food came very fast. There was heaven în my mouth when i ve tasted the chicken, it s still making my mouth water when i think about The taste of tikka Masala, it was really one of the Best plates i had în my life. Attached to my comment, you will see the prices list, which are fair for crans montana, for Switzerland. The portions are very generos, and the service was perfect! What else!? Next Time i will eat lentil soup, and I will defenately try one of their dessert, as this time we had enough food. And i will try the lamb, i m sure it s delicious. I was not disturbed by the restaurant s interior design, but it s true some small changes will make a difference. The music was relaxing and the Ambiance very nice. The Location is also one of the Best, as the restaurant lies în a very quiet place of Crans, and it s never too crowded, like other famous restaurants în The region, and you can just enjoy the meal without Hearing other people talking next to you, i ve kind of liked that, thus i prefer to eat at the place, and not make Take Away. But it s a matter of taste, right? În The evening the restaurant looks really cozy from outside, but truth being told, we ve never had diner here. I will post some Photos, to get an idea, but the food tastes better than it looks, trust me. Smile smile smile

We were a group of 6, it cost almost $200. The plates were tiny and the taste was absent, this is the worst ever Indian food I ever had. The only thing that was good were the Samosas, beef curry was so hard, Chana...masala and butter chicken were watery, but the worst was the Naan bread it was most like a pancake as a naan, terrible! bad food

Very flavoursome Indian meal, good for both vegetarians and meat eaters. The curry sauces are delicious and the portion sizes are generous. nicely decorated. Situated right in the main street of Crans.

Excellent food. Many restaurants in Cran-Montana serve average European/western food. Eating in this restaurant was a delight, with well-spiced dishes.
