Le Mazot - Réservation de table

I’ve had dinner in that restaurant during a job travel in Vevey, the place is not very large, but is cosy and quiet, so much so that you feel at home, moreover the food quality it’s so good and the kindness of the owner makes everything more pleasant. You can taste some typical dishes of Switzerland (Fondue it’s so nice) spending the right amount, in short, an excellent experience!

Came here for lunch on a week day on the later side. It was about 3/4 full, mostly tables of local business people (I think). Filet de perch and frites were good, the rosti and fried eggs was perfect and the salad is the kind of simple toss of fresh greens with that perfect vinaigrette I alway associate with Vaud. Server was busy but didn't miss a beat.

We ordered a medium-rare beef fillet, but we got was an medium-well meat. It was tough and chewy that it hurts my jaw. However, the staff were nice and attentive. I would recommend you to try their specialty Horse fillet rather than the beef.

Nice little restaurant with good fondue and steaks. However: it was not possible to order uneven portions of fondue. We were three people and ended up ordering four portions. It’s pretty ridiculous and I won’t go back Réservez une table maintenant

Only pleasure and happiness spent in this estaminet from another time. The service staff and the owner of the establishment are friendly. The kitchen is very neat. I will come back to it.

Traditional Swiss restaurant in the quieter back streets of Vevey, not far from mains square. Variety of local specialities on the menu went for the 2 cheese fondue, super tasty.

Small restaurant with a small menu but which is a guarantee of quality, without forgetting the Mazot sauce which enhances beautiful pieces of meat.
