This restaurant changed owner this August, and since I've been here a few times with family and friends and each time it has got better and better.The new owner is very friendly and will go out of his way to get you what you want. We dropped a knife and almost before it had hit the floor he was by our table with a new one. He had memorized our 'usuals' as soon as the third time we went. The atmosphere is colloquial and friendly; the chef will ask if you enjoyed your meal and I suppose it is mainly locals who frequent the place. We stumbled upon Le Point Grignote during our brief tour of Castelnaudary and made the obvious lunchtime choice of Cassoulet. It was served quickly by a friendly waiter. The dish was very good. The one disappointment was some noisy very young children at a table adjacent to ours. We cannot fault the restaurant for that small problem, and it is a testimony that it was a neighborhood favorite. It was a good choice for the day.
Have been eating here for thirteen years. Okay, it has been a while, but...... what happened?The place looks the same. The menu looks the same but......The food bore little resemblance to what we expect from, what was, one of our favourite bistros.Totally tasteless food!!! Pleasant service, but not many diners! Ah ha! There's the clue!Should have gone for fast food, at least they don't pretend to be something they are not.
Happened across this bar/restaurant when we were exploring Castelnaudary and decided we would stop for lunch. It was one of those experiences when you feel great about an impulse. Good service and simple food, highly recommended.

Le personnel n'a pas hésité à nous recevoir malgré l'heure à venir, mais nous étions un groupe de 6 personnes. C'était un bon moment maintenu par un personnel attentif et une cuisine simple et bonne.
Après 3 visites, nous aimerions partager avec vous les bons moments que nous y avons passés. Bien accueilli, bien mangé et le cadre convivial. On y retourne.
Excellent accueil et un délicieux repas, tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour passer un bon repas en groupe.
Restaurant sans prétention, cuisine des produit locaux certains bio.
